Samsung Philippines has launched another member of their premium tablet line-up — the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus P6200 — in the Philippines, alongside the Galaxy Tab 7.7 P6800. Aside from the much-sought Exynos chipset with a 1.2GHz processor, this tablet also features a 7.0-inch display at 1024 x 600 pixels resolution, 1GB of RAM and two cameras — a 3MP rear camera that can record up to 720p videos and a 2MP front-facing camera.
This 7-inch tablet runs Samsung’s TouchWiz UX user interface under the hood and is powered by Android Honeycomb. Moreover, Samsung officially announced that the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is one of the company’s devices that will get the latest Android update to Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also packs features like Social Hub, Readers Hub and Music Hub. Samsung’s Social Hub aggregates the user’s contacts, calendar and email along with instant messaging and social networking connections all within one easy-to-use interface. On the other hand, Readers Hub provides e-reading content such as e-books, newspapers and magazines while the Music Hub enables access to over 13 million songs even when out and about.
Despite packing quite powerful specs, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus still managed to attract budget-conscious consumers as it dons a price tag of just Php23,990!

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus P6200 User Reviews and Opinions:
Im now using this tab for like 7 8days and i must say its lot more than i expcted. Battery backup is great. internet browsing, music, gaming, camera, use everything back to back and battery lasts for 6 hours. I would call that pretty good. 3.2MP for camera but still impresive and front cam works well with skype and other video chat apps… All and all true value for money. 100%recomended – SKL of GSMArena
I have had the P6200 for a week now and the battery life is AMAZNGLY long, it lasts for 9hrs of continued videos, music, and games with phone calls wifi and social hub updated every 30 minutes. The size is perfect for daily use, the phone speaker and mic are very clear, and the phone fits well in my hands and jeans pocket. Videos don’t look as good as on the 7.7 tab, but its still very detailed with good black levels and the player can chew anything you throw at it too. Music player is similar to every SGtab which is a good thing. I would have loved a faster processor tbh, an Amoled screen with a better resolution but this would have affected the battery life too. Ice Cream Sandwich is coming soon to the P6200 which will make it smoother and faster a bit so i can’t wait. Highly recommended for every person want wants a great tab and a superb phone and a very good music player. Now i only carry this with me, even my iPhone 4S was rendered useless. – SiriHoneyComb of GSMArena
I just got this tab recently, and needless to say i am quite satisfied with it. Although it does have its occasional lags and such its performance is still smooth. The screen resolution is okay and in a nutshell, im a happy buyer and would recommend this product to anyone. – iamlegend of GSMArena
I got it a few days back. Its a nice tablet but the display and the camera has not changed compared to the original P1000. Honeycomb is a new experience and it will take time getting used to. Everything else works fine. – Saeed – Iran of GSMArena
If you do have any experiences, opinions or questions about the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus P6200 and want to share them with us, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment below. We’d love to hear them!

The foremost thing i loved about this tab is the weight of it.Its somewhere around 340 gms and it makes a good replacement for a smart phone.Although it looks kinda strange holding and talking thru it, but a bluetooth can suffice. It has got a good camera and the pic’s resolution is good when viewed in a laptop.Speed is swift and has no problems handling multiple apps at the same time, thanks to 1 GB RAM.
However, it gets heated up pretty fast and i feel like it needs a heat sink like a laptop.Samsung shud do something about it.
Apart from that , 6200 is a good tab to hang out with.
I bought galaxy 7.0 plus last january, it doesnt have infrared but i asked samsung philippines in facebook it said that all galaxy 7.0 plus in philippines and other southeast asian countries dont have infrered.im kinda twisted that you listed infrared on this device..im confused now.
I have bought this Tab 2 weeks ago. I should say, I am indeed delighted by its versatility of replacing a phone and my Lappy for Web browsing, voice and video call and chat, Maps and many more.
But i am noticing this problem as well.
Its heats up, surprisingly it heats more in sleep (lock) mode rather when awake. I literally need to switch to other hand after some time.
After sometime when i unlock (switch on) the screen it never resumes back, it rather restarts.
And during this time if anyone makes a voice call it gives a ringing signal to them, but in actual never rings at my end.
Frequency is, it happens once in 2 days.
Otherwise the tab is a shear pleasure.
Thank you for sharing this with us, That was truly special!
