Just few days ago, Filipino company MyPhone proudly released its latest Android smartphone — the phablet (phone + tablet) MyPhone A919 Duo, which is apparently said to be the company’s direct response to the successful launch of its competitor’s Cherry Mobile Titan.
Running on a dual-core 1GHz processor and powered by the relatively latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the MyPhone A919 Duo flaunts a huge 5-inch 480 x 854 pixels IPS display and features an 4GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM, a front-facing VGA camera, and an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera.
This device also includes a connectivity set of 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth 3.0, and micro USB. It’s equipped with a massive 2,000mAh battery, which is promised to deliver 180 hours of standby and 5 hours of talk-time.
The MyPhone A919 Duo has an introductory price of Php7,990 (only until December 31, 2012) and will later on be priced at its original suggested retail price of Php9,499 (starting on January 1, 2013).
