Apple has finally announced earlier today that its latest flagship smartphone, the iPhone 5, will be available in more than 50 countries including the Philippines this coming December 14.

Most likely, just like the iPhone 4S, both Smart Communications and Globe Telecom will be carrying the new iPhone. Also, this news has already been confirmed by both networks:
