Two weeks ago, local company Cherry Mobile released its latest phablet device — Cherry Mobile Omega XL. It features a 6-inch qHD display, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, an 8MP front camera with LED flash (yes, you read that right. An LED flash in front), and a 13MP rear camera with LED flash.

It also sports 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage , 2,450mAh battery, and runs on Android Jelly Bean OS.

According to reports, the Omega XL has scored ~17,229 points in AnTuTu Benchmark which means, it’s capable of running large apps and multitasking, and support most games smoothly possible.

The only downside here is that, it’s not equipped with (at least) an HD quality display which can be seen in most members of the Omega family. However, with a price tag of under eight grand, the Omega XL will be a great buy if you’re looking for a large phone with good features at a very affordable price.

The Cherry Mobile Omega XL is now available in all Cherry Mobile kiosks nationwide with a suggested retail price of Php7,999.
